About Me

Hi There!! My name is Heather!! I am native New Mexican and currently reside just south of Albuquerque. I have been with my husband for almost 30 years. We have 4 dogs and about 25 fish.

I received my first 35mm camera when I was 12 and have always had a camera nearby every since. In 2005 I purchased my first DSLR and was asked to take my first paid session not long after as family friends needed someone to take photoz at their wedding. (I told them I had never done that before but I would try) I did a really good job on their photoz and received several referrals and Thotz Photoz was born. Fast Forward to today and I take care of everything from weddings all the way to headshotz. I enjoy my career immensely because we get to take your "Thotz" and create a beautiful story. 

When I'm not taking photoz I enjoy making greeting cards, going fishing, and watching hockey when I can. That's just a lil bit about me!!
